Ohhhhhhhhhh shit!

My buddy Jose inspired and worked on a documentary that's premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival. As I'm being forced to burn a month of vacation days this year, I accepted his invitation.

Of course, if he invited me, then he probably invited our high school principal too, as well as some high school classmates who I have zero interest in ever seeing again.

He is (begrudgingly) my constant.

I'm compiling a list of food to try while I'm in town. So far I have:

1. Shake Shack

and

2. whatever this is

K! Pizzacone...

If you're going to Shake Shack you should also try Paul's on St. Marks and 2nd Avenue. Personally, I think it's the better burger - but they're both pretty great.

I recommend Pommes Frites, 2nd Ave. & 7th. Belgian fries with like 30 kinds of sauces, primarily mayo-based. Also, Roti Roll at 109th & Amsterdam is amazing, but there's not much reason to go up there unless you live in the area.

I second my doppelganger's recommendation for Pommes Frites.

San Loco across the street has pretty great tacos too.
