Greetings from Las Vegas.
After two years away, I see that construction of Echelon Place on the Strip is still suspended. Apple should buy the land from Boyd Gaming and build an Apple resort and casino.
This is my first time staying at the Venetian. You can tell that it's owned by a right wingnut because of the inordinate amount of security. Yesterday, I returned to my floor and encountered three guards kicking a handcuffed hippie out for possession of marijuana.
"It was in the room when I entered!"
I wonder how Steve Wynn feels about Phil Ruffin further desecrating Treasure Island, erecting a strip mall Starbucks outside its front entrance and converting half of Buccaneer Bay into a Señor Frog's.
