One part the führer, one part the pope

Today marks the 10th anniversary of Quarashi's Jinx, one of my favourite white rap albums. It is now eligible for induction into the Adam Riff™ White Rap Hall of Fame.

Kurt: White Rap Hall of Fame?

Jon: That's how much I love white rap.

Kurt: Which albums are members?

Jon: Well, Licensed to Ill

Beastie Boys – Licensed to Ill (1986)
Beastie Boys – Paul's Boutique (1989)
3rd Bass – The Cactus Album (1989)
Vanilla Ice – To the Extreme (1990)
House of Pain – House of Pain (1992)
Insane Clown Posse – The Great Milenko (1997)
Eminem – The Slim Shady LP (1999)
Eminem – The Marshall Mathers LP (2000)
Aesop Rock – Labor Days (2001)
The Streets – Original Pirate Material (2002)

Kurt: No MC 900 Ft. Jesus?

Jon: I wouldn't classify his albums as white rap.

Kurt: Snow?

Jon: According to Wikipedia, Snow is technically a dancehall artist. And even if he was technically a white rapper, Snow?!

Kurt: You inducted ICP! The Seven Society this ain't.

Drew Carey, a longtime Snow fan, had Snow record a reggae version of The Drew Carey Show theme song, "Moon Over Parma," for the series' eighth and ninth seasons. [source]

A LONGTIME SNOW FAN.

Jon: I've grown to like Check Your Head the most. Anyway, the Beastie Boys' first three albums are the Star Wars: Episodes IV-VI of white rap — and their last three albums are Episodes I-III.

Kurt: What are Ill Communication and Hello Nasty then?

Jon: Indiana Jones films?
