The camera following the character through the hole in the floor into the room below – that was cool.
The action mostly feels inert. The producers might want to hire a Thai or Chinese choreographer for the sequel.
Might want to tone down the grunting and shouting too. #histrionic
Alas, another victim of hype. This is why I prefer to catch films at festivals, and why I cautiously anticipate The Cabin in the Woods.
