ABC greenlit a pilot for Pan Am, a soap about sexy pilots and flight attendants in the 1960s. Christina Ricci will play the lead, Maggie, a "fiery Bohemian stewardess."
Meanwhile, NBC greenlit a pilot for Playboy, a drama set in Chicago's famed Playboy Club in 1963.
NBC also greenlit a pilot for a western set during Reconstruction.
