Loose Ends

» "Know Your Enemy," off Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown LP, is a terrible first single. It sounds like one of the weaker movements of a larger composition.

The advance reviews I've seen all praise 21st Century Breakdown, but what I've heard (the first single and the titular track) has not impressed me at all.

» Soulja Boy squanders the hook of "Kiss Me Thru the Phone" with his lazy, atonal vocals.

» The Golden Girls theme song is begging to be sampled.

» While searching for Clorox wipes at Rite Aid, I passed an aisle devoted exclusively to "incontinence."

» Big mouth bites and burger shots and mini burgers are such a non-innovation, like something Taco Bell would introduce.

Oh gawd… Fully loaded, grilled, nacho cheese mini tacos.

Idea: Burger nuggets. No, popcorn burger!

I thought the Golden Girls theme was sampled in that Kid Rock/Sheryl Crow song.

No, that Kid Rock/Sheryl Crow song just sounds like the Golden Girls theme.
